The mission of the Department of implantology -

1) Educate and train post-graduate students within the framework of contemporary periodontics,

2) Promote evidence based implantology practice and enriching our knowledge through educational programs and demonstrations from various clinicians across the globe. 

3) Provide a platform for the implant related staff and post-graduate students to render optimal, comprehensive periodontal care for the highly-diverse population of the region, with rigorous quality assurance and patient satisfaction,

4) Promote scholarly activity that reaches regional, national and international audiences,

5)   Engage in clinical- and laboratory-based research.

In fulfilling this mission, the long-term goal of the Department is recognition as one of the leading programs in Implantology through outstanding educational programs, excellence in patient care, research, and scholarship.
